Saturday I went down to the South Street Seaport with Shannon. We met up with our friend Vanessa and a few of her friends. We also ran into Shannon’s friends from the Hamptons, Nick & Jimmy.
Me, Vanessa & Shannon
The South Street Seaport was not the same as every other day. Today we were celebrating St. Patrick’s Day a few days early. There was an all day drinking fest at the South Street Seaport. If you were between 18-25ish you were at the South Street Seaport. Here is the deal, you pay $15 to get in ($10 if you had a can of food to donate). You got a green cup that is worth $2 for any drink you choose to get. You can get a miller lite or cranberry and vodka or anything you want for $2. Everyone had on green in celebration of the Irish holiday!

The massive line to get in
It was a lot of fun and packed! You saw EVERYONE you have ever met in Manhattan! There was also a live band on the third floor - food specials as well as drinks specials at a few restaurants.

I was only there for a little bit as I had plans for later on in the day. Would I go back? Absolutely! Even though I am not a big beer drinker, I had so much fun! If I knew it was going to be that much fun I would have cleared out my entire day and evening to really enjoy. Thank you Shannon for convincing me to go so last minute! Definitely worth it!!!
