  • Matt Damon and wife, Luciana, are expecting a second child together. Luciana already has a daughter, 9 years old, from a previous marriage. Matt & Luciana also have a daughter, Isabella, 2 in June. Congrats to the happy family!!
  • Lisa Marie Presley, 40, is expecting a child and is really upset that the press kept claiming she was fat and was pressured in revealing her pregnancy (www,people.com). “After being the target all week of slanderous and degrading stories, horribly manipulated pictures and articles in the media, I have had to show my cards and announce under the gun and under vicious personal attack that I am in fact pregnant,” writes Presley on her MySpace Celebrity blog.

Kimora Lee Simmons/Djimon Hounsou/Pregnant

  • Page Six & People are both reporting that Kimora Lee Simmons & boyfriend Djimon Hounsou are expecting a child! • Us weekly is reporting that Josh Hartnett was seen partying at Kiss & Fly in New York City (review of the club coming later this month be sure to check back in the next few weeks!)
  • Us Weekly is also having Heidi Montag on the cover reporting her story about Spencer Pratt cheating on her. The story isn’t even the concern… why on earth is Heidi on the cover of Us Weekly in a cheap thermal hot pink tee? Heidi Montag/The Hills/Lauren Conrad/Spender Pratt
  • I so love Leona Lewis right now! I am not a huge fan of American Idol, but I love her song, Bleeding Love. Check it out when you get a chance! With this song we definitely have a hit! All she needs is good PR ( aka… date some celebrity).Go Leona!! Go buy her album  like the good old days. Does Samgoody even still exist??

Hope you like all the things “I am Loving right now”…. Check back tomorrow for my review of Dos Caminos in Soho!!

Sunday Afternoon Gone Wrong

Blogged under Fashionista Diaries by nicolette on Sunday 9 March 2008 at 9:50 pm

Ok lets begin how my wonderful Sunday afternoon turned into not the best Sunday afternoon…. it is embarrassing to say but yes, my mom does my laundry!  Now that we had a good laugh… let’s begin with the traumatic episode I had today…. I was sitting in front of the computer working on the site and I get a phone call on my cell phone (my mom knows never to call the house because I never answer it) it said “Mom Cell” I was wondering why she was calling me as I know she was doing my laundry (my version of doing “my laundry” is throwing a pile of my clothes on the floor and saying “clean this” and then walking away). I answered my cell.. she said … “There has been an accident with the clothes” my heart just dropped. Not my clothes?!? I love my clothes! Every piece is so important to me whether you are a pair of shoes (highly important) to a scarf (not as important) I love all my clothes so much!

After I soaked in the news, she said “come with the Clorox” I knew it was bad. I ran to the kitchen and got the Clorox, i asked her on the phone “is this method of using Clorox to fix the clothes real? like proven? or just in your head” and my mom whispered the worst thing…. “just in my head”…. I felt a tear fall down my face. I ran to the laundry mat. I saw it. The tumble of clothes… once white… now pink!!!! Even though pink is my favorite color I just felt the tears… I gave her the Clorox and couldn’t even speak… I trusted her with my most valuable possessions! I couldn’t bare the sight! I walked back to my apartment and just tried to not think about it, some of clothes were saved with the “add Clorox solution” but two of my favorite shirts that I wear to work basically everyday were not saved =(

New York City Sunday Mornings

Blogged under Fashionista Diaries by nicolette on Sunday 9 March 2008 at 11:21 am

Ahh this is what every Sunday morning should be! I woke up today at noon, got the laundry ready, opened the windows to a bright sunny day, although it is a bit chilly (30 degrees) and now I am drinking my coffee- French Vanilla- and checking my mail. Most likely today I will be taking the day a little slow, some shopping (without having to be rushed and flying off to Brooklyn ), dinner with the boyfriend, the usual.

The Birthday party went well last night, I got there around 5pm and you know when you think the day can’t get worse (hurricane like rains all day, speed shopping, hair getting ruined, etc….) someone comes out and gives you a hand. The time I chose to begin my adventure to Brooklyn the rain stopped and didn’t begin till 30minutes after I got to my Aunt’s house! Nice to know someone is watching out for me haha.  Xoxo
